How to apply

The cost of participation is Euro 7,750, payable in advance by the participant or his/her sponsoring organization. It includes:

  • tuition fees
  • training materials and books
  • transport during the study visits
  • use of training facilities and support services.

Accommodation and international and local transport for the period in Turin are not included in the cost of participation.

Accommodation and subsistence cost

The campus of ITC/ILO has residential and catering facilities.

The cost of accommodation and subsistence in the residential and catering facilities in the campus of ITC/ILO is Euro 4,200 payable in advance by the participant or his/her sponsoring organization. It includes:

  • accommodation in a single room, laundry service and full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) at the ITC-ILO Campus during the residential phase (that will start on 11 January 2016 and end on 24 March 2016);
  • the use of the facilities for recreation and sports at the Centre’s campus; and,
  • routine medical care and insurance.

If you wish to apply for one of the partial fellowships, please specify this on the application form. Please indicate which institution or sponsor has agreed to finance the costs not covered by the partial fellowship.

Fellowships

 

A number of partial fellowships are available only for participants from developing countries on a competitive basis.

The available partial fellowship will cover 4,200 Euro of the residential and catering package on the campus of ITC/ILO (including accommodation in a single room, breakfast; a daily allowance of 15 Euro for the lunch and dinner in the self-service canteen; laundry; insurance and minor medical care; access to social life services and facilities).

The costs of participation and transport from/to a participant's country of origin for the residential phase in Turin are not covered by the partial fellowships. These costs must therefore be funded by another sponsor or by participants themselves.

Eligibility criteria

The selection of participants for this programme, as well as the awarding of fellowships, will be made by a selection committee consisting of ITC/ILO and Turin University representatives. The selection committee shall place no restrictions on the eligibility of men and women to participate, under conditions of equality, in the programme.

The selection criteria will include academic and professional qualifications, experience, organization of origin, country of origin, and gender balance.

The course will not take place with fewer than 20 participants. The maximum number of participants will be 35.
